The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor - Molding oversees day-to-day operations of assigned employees in the Injection Molding Factory. This role ensures production objectives are safely achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements. The supervisor acts as a liaison between managerial goals and floor-level execution, supporting visibility through daily reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Key responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate production workers, assign tasks, set goals, and monitor performance
Production Management: Allocate resources in an agile environment to meet demand and ensure alignment with corporate objectives
Quality Assurance: Implement quality checks and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance, including FDA and GMP standards
Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available for efficient production
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements for cost savings and operational efficiency
Reporting: Maintain open communication with cross-functional teams and report KPIs to senior leadership
Training & Development: Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance skills and performance
Position requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. If no degree, 2-4 years of experience is required.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in Medical Device Industry and/ or supervisory role.
Technical knowledge in Plastics Injection Molding Process and/or Tooling Engineering
Familiarity with Quality Systems Regulations and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $64,074 to 99,788. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
