Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
- Assures that equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum.
- Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
- Maintain compliance with state, county, and city ordinances, codes, and laws.
- Utilize CMMS system Upkeep for work orders and record keeping in real time.
- Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Performs unscheduled maintenance during production on equipment.
- Works independently or with a team on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Handles Hazardous Waste in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow and support all safety practices by wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and complying with safety signs and placards, maintaining good housekeeping, communicating unsafe practices and conditions to your local or PD EHS teams, and reporting all safety incidents (including near misses) as they occur.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Current or previously forklift certified.
- Previous experience with vacuum deposition equipment preferred.
- General knowledge of industry maintenance and repair practices.
- Ability to work independently and plan work without direct supervision.
- Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, HVAC and other systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical components on industrial or commercial equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleanroom protocols and hands-on experience operating manufacturing equipment used in the fabrication of discrete devices, microelectronics, and semiconductor components preferred.
- For Second shift maintenance technicians; Must complete six months of training on first shift and demonstrate the ability to work independently on second shift with minimal supervision.

Work Physical Requirements:
- Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, standing, and working/extending overhead, lifting up to 50 Lbs.
