This position assists with the daily operation of the Catering Events Department including planning & execution.  You will work with all other departments to ensure Member & guests expectations are exceeded.  


Responsibilities include: 

Coordinates event planning with production team and service staff: arranges for printing of menus, procuring decorations, entertainment & other special requests

Promptly responds to phone calls & emails, follows up on leads from THE KNOT 

Puts together schedule of events for the next month 

Inputs floor plans into "Social Tables" software program

Keeps track of deposits for non member events

Requirements

Hospitality industry knowledge a+ 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgement

Must be able to maintain good professional relations with other employees, supervisors, members & outside vendors
