What will you do in this job?
- Demonstrate proficiency in accrual accounting practices.
- Filing
- Front desk coverage.
- Document retention and archiving.
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintains and balances the accounts payable ledger
- Receive, match and log accounts payable tickets and receipts.
- Maintaining and updating routine payables.
- Enter monthly receivable invoices.
- Verifying and processing invoices for approval and posting.
- Provides special reports as requested by executive staff.
- Contributes to team efforts to complete projects as needed.
- Performs all duties in a timely, organized and efficient manner
- Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality keeping private all Human Resource and Payroll information. Safeguard documents by keeping them locked when unattended.
- Follows all security policies and procedures to protect against injury, theft and misuse of company-owned property and information.
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of any problems or unusual situations and/or action.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting rate: $24.00 followed by eligibility for annual performance-based increases with maximum pay of $27.00. Highest pay as a result of ongoing good performance and years of service.

- If 18 years or older, eligibility to participate in a Retirement Savings Plan (401k or Roth IRA) at the entry dates (January 1st or July 1st). Enrollment eligibility following one year of service and have worked 1,000 hours in the first year or any calendar year thereafter, or 500-1000 hours each year for three consecutive years.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, hourly position. Days and hours are dependent on business needs, but will occur primarily Monday through Friday.

Requirements
- Pass established background verification process.
- Pass drug screen and participate in drug/alcohol tests per policy.
- Possess valid Washington State Drivers License, good driving record, ability to provide own transportation and proof of current automobile insurance.
- Possess effective interpersonal, reasoning and negotiating skills.
- Knowledge and skills using personal computer and software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Adobe and general accounting software systems.
- Accuracy in data input, attention to detail and organization required.
- Must be able to communicate in English and demonstrate good verbal skills.
- Interact positively with ethnically, culturally, economically and disability diverse populations.
