Position Overview

Shearer Supply is seeking an experienced (2-3 years) eCommerce professional to manage daily website operations, drive online sales growth, and optimize customer experience on our website ShearerSupply.com In a past role you might have held titles like eCommerce Consultant, Category Owner, Online Producer, Digital Merchandising Specialist. At Shearer Supply we are a scrapy team looking for someone who can help us with:

eCommerce Platform Management

  • Maintain and optimize product catalogs
  • Manage eCommerce platform (Unilog, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or      enterprise systems) 
  • Using advanced Excel skills (vlookups, data analysis)
  • Execute product imports, updates, and category management
  • Coordinate with development teams on platform customizations
  • Perform basic HTML/CSS coding for front-end improvements
  • Create and manage site pages, navigation, and content per business calendar

Digital Merchandising & Analytics

  • Drive sales growth through conversion rate optimization and enhanced user      experience
  • Analyze performance data using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or      Tableau
  • Comfortable pulling data and digging out meaningful actions to implement to improve      the website.
  • Manage homepage banners, promotions, product launches, and category merchandising
  • Implement cross-sell/upsell strategies to increase average order value
  • Monitor site performance and recommend UX improvements

Customer Support

  • Handle customer inquiries via email, chat, and support tickets
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide escalation when needed
  • Support internal teams with platform training and guidance

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Basic graphic design using Photoshop or Canva
  • PIM data syncs – matching items and syncing content with PIMs or other      systems. 
  • ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, SendGrid)

Required Qualifications

  • Location: Must be local for on-site work in Farmers Branch
  • Proven track record of growing online conversion rates and revenue
  • Experience with data-driven decision making
  • Strong customer service mindset with patience and communication skills
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and coordinate with multiple teams
