Vice President, Development and Fundraising
Located in Zelienople, PA
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
The Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation is responsible for raising funds for all entities, programs and services provided by Lutheran SeniorLife. It facilitates charitable giving from individuals, churches, employees, foundations and corporations through donations, bequests and grants.
The Lutheran SeniorLife Vice President, Development and Fundraising, is responsible to implement and lead a comprehensive, system-wide fundraising and solicitation strategy to support the mission and programs of Lutheran SeniorLife. The incumbent provides a donor-focused and innovative approach for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects to secure philanthropic support. Identifies and grows new constituent sectors, invites participation of all constituencies and builds donor, corporate and foundation relationships that support the mission and persons served.
Qualifications:Vice President, Development and Fundraising qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 5-7 years of experience and knowledge in fundraising.
- Experience in managing donor and customer informational systems, such as CRM Systems (Customer Relations Management) or a fundraising database like Raiser Edge.
- Experience with project management, relationship management and event planning.
- Experience in cultivating and nurturing corporate and philanthropic relationships fundraising techniques including: face-to-face solicitations, direct mail, special events, foundation and corporate giving, and planned giving.
