Summary: Prepares and plates a wide range of cold and hot dishes as instructed by chef from appetizer to dessert following strict guideline based on traditional recipes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for every aspect of designated dishes.
Prepares and organizes "station mise en place" for daily service.
Executes assigned dishes and assists other cooks when available.
Breaks down station and overall kitchen clean-up.
Adheres to all current sanitation requirements.
Work with front of house for quality and timely execution.
Maintains all health codes and sanitation requirements.
Executes job description completely according to Executive Chef/GM standards.
Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
Fills out daily prep sheets for following days' duties.
May be requested on occasion to fill in on dish line.
Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Must have equipment knowledge.
Must have basic knife skills.
At least 1-3 years fine dining experience recommended.
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs.
Must be able to work in harmony as a team player in conjunction with other staff.
Education &/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 years kitchen experience and strong interest in culinary arts. Wok experience or prior work in Thai Kitchen desired & a plus.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract twodigit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The wage for this position is $22/hr.
