About the Position
This part – time position is responsible for assisting membership with their Racquet Center needs both in the pro shop and on court. This position will be the front facing contact to greet and register members and guests, operate the front desk, promote racquets programming and events, assist with sales of merchandise and retail inventory.
The position reports to the Racquets Operations Manager.

The Estuary also features a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse with indoor/outdoor dining overlooking the golf course, a golf pro shop, and men's and women's lockers. This area will undergo a redesign in 2028.

Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for phone and in person needs in the shop.
- Performs opening and closing procedures at the Racquets Pro Shop as scheduled.
- Handles reservations for all programming, events, and social play.
- Ensures maintenance, availability, scheduling of ball machine.
- Promotes and registers members for tournaments, leagues, programs, and events.
- Maintains tidy and clean workspace and attractive pro shop, merchandise displays.
- Assists members and guests with merchandise, special orders, and able to re-grip racquets, paddles
- Attend staff meetings.
- Assists with merchandise quarterly inventories and receiving, and merchandising.
- Works variety of shifts, as needed to include occasional evenings for events, one weekend day, and/or holidays.
- Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures.
- Observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly to ensure a safe workplace
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service issues.
- RPOS and retail sales experience.
- Must have knowledge of computer software applications such as Outlook, Excel, etc.
- General tennis knowledge preferred, USTA 3.0+ preferred.
- Detailed oriented and customer service driven.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
