Position Information: The full time Vehicle Appearance Center Manager will assist the Sales and Reconditioning Departments, be the point of contact with new vehicles and assist sales and used car managers as needed.

- Take vehicle pictures and post vehicle descriptions
- Monitor timely vehicle process to lot
- Maintain an attractive retail lot presentation
- Inspect new inventory upon arrival
- Process inventory and documents to system
- Process Reconditioning Repair Orders
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet every customer, every day
- Maintain high ethical standards when dealing with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Put safety first. Adhere to all Safety Policies, Procedures and Personal Protective Equipment standards
- Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Ink 52, ShapeCheck in new vehicles upon delivery, inspecting for damage, parking in appropriate spots, and give labeled keys to the person entering in inventory.
- Lot prep new vehicles upon PDI completion
- Follow/Monitor vehicles thru out the entire process-Monitor
- Create/Retain, Deal Jackets with all proper documentation
- Assist/Assure that inventory is all processed to Thomas Standards i.e. Recalls Completed
- Order and inventory reconditioning materials for use by team
- Photograph new vehicles and update descriptions
- Rotate inventory as needed
- Visually inspect pre-owned inventory for cleanliness and condition upon reconditioning completion. Photograph, sticker, write comments, book-out, print price sticker, and park in retail line.
- Fuel vehicles as needed
- Run dealership models as needed for battery maintenance
- Inspecting aged inventory for cleanliness, merchandising, condition, etc.
- Assist sales manager and used car manager with inventory requests as needed
- Any additional duties as technologies, vehicles, and processes change
- Miscellaneous dealership tasks as assigned by managers
- Assist reconditioning department on an as needed basis (deliveries, cars for events, etc.)
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, as well as ensuring the entire facility is orderly, clean and free of hazards
Requirements
Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent. Valid driver's license in state of residence and clean driving record. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions: Will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of the shift. Will spend time outdoors and will drive vehicles in traffic. Evening, holiday and weekend work hours may be required.
