Job Summary:
The Component Administrator plays a key role in supporting production operations at Ideal Steel. This position is responsible for overseeing component-related documentation, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining timely communication between departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all documentation for components, including orders, quotes, inventory records, bills of materials, and production schedules.
- Collect and process Order Payments.
- Monitor component inventory levels to ensure availability for production needs.
- Communicate with purchasing and production teams regarding component requirements and updates.
- Coordinate component shipments with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing component orders, addressing discrepancies as necessary.
- Work closely with sales and production staff to resolve component-related issues.
- Maintain detailed and organized records for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Job duties include but are not limited to the above.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or experience in business or a related field preferred.
- Experience in inventory management, production coordination, or similar roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports efficiently.
- Legal work authorization in the United States (sponsorship will not be provided for this role).
- Position-based onsite.
