Job Description
As a Content and Social Media Marketing Intern, you will support the Best Buy Business marketing team in driving consumer awareness and consideration by developing thought leadership content and optimizing sales enablement. In this role, you'll work closely with an innovative team to help deliver the products, services, and support that B2B clients need to feel confident in their technology. Across multiple industries such as education, home builders, hospitality, and more, this internship will also provide opportunities for professional development and networking cross-functionally within a professional environment.
This internship will be available from October 6th, 2025 to January 31st, 2026. It is a hybrid role, meaning you must be located within a drivable distance to our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You will be asked to come into the office 1 day per week. This role is set for 20 hours per week.
What you’ll do
- Research internal and external marketing best practices, including pitch decks, case studies, industry insights, and content opportunities.
- Create and optimize sales pitch decks
- Write a case study and/or LinkedIn Newsletter
- Create LinkedIn posts and manage a monthly social media content calendar
- Analyze monthly LinkedIn performance
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, graduating between fall 2025— and spring 2027.
- Must be pursuing a marketing or communications degree.
- Must have a GPA of a 3.0 or higher
- Provide a writing sample and relevant class list upon request
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc., will not be considered)
- Familiarity with digital tools and software (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Attention to detail: strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately manage multiple tasks
- Communication skills: strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders
- Willingness to learn: eagerness to learn new tools, systems, and processes
- Teamwork and adaptability: ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to different tasks and responsibilities as needed
- Storytelling, facilitation, and presentation skills
