Hybrid Shipping Loader/Prepper bei Hussmann Corporation

Prepare product for shipment and load product on trucks.  Work as a team member to meet goals and bring about positive change.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for staging, shipping product, equipment, and supplies.
• Practices safe material handling techniques
• Follow load sheets, etc. to ensure the correct product is loaded.
• Ensure product is properly secured on trucks, and take pictures of secured product.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as required.  
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one-year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift experience a must.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work with the team to solve issues involving multiple variables.
• 1-2 year’s experience preferred. Membership in Teamsters Local 986 is require once hired.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Hand Tools such as nail guns, chop saw, banders.
• Forklift experience.
• Self-starter.
• Excellent Hand and eye coordination.
• Adapt to changes daily.
