Development Data Coordinator

Department: Donor Services Location: East Point, GA

Who We Are:

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we�ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners � including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

About the Role:

The Development Data Coordinator is intricate in executing processes to increase the integrity of our fundraising and relationship management database. This position is responsible for assisting with data integrity and gift processing. This individual will also work closely with our fundraisers to increase revenue from our matching gift program. This position is part of the Development department and reports to the Senior Manager, Development Operations & Analytics.

What You�ll Do:

Data Management and Review

  • Create, update, and run database queries, exports, and reports

  • Coordinate lengthy data exports in compliance with software limitations

  • Actively maintain duplicate records on a routine and ongoing basis

  • Perform data audits to proactively monitor data integrity

  • Uploads data to external sites

  • Enter, track and report on Raiser�s Edge Event Module

  • Coordinate and assist with database clean-up projects

  • Assist with monetary donation reporting

  • Work with Development Data Analyst and Individual/Institutional Giving Teams on relationship clean-up and maintenance

Data Entry and Other Administrative Tasks

  • Process large volume of gifts (pledges, live checks, credit cards, cash, stocks and ACH) using multiple software platforms

  • Updates database through global changes, imports, and manually

  • Documents, revises, and maintains policies and procedures

  • Looks up donation details in Raiser�s Edge, Classy, Luminate Online, and other platforms

  • Update ImportOmatic profiles and dictionaries

  • Assist with TeamRaiser registration maintenance

  • May periodically assist with acknowledgement letters and other in-house mailings

  • May assist with prosect research projects

  • Other duties and projects may be assigned

What You�ll Need: Skills and Experience your resume should demonstrate:

  • Successful work history that demonstrates strong organizational skills, relentless attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize routine tasks and meet deadlines with little supervision

  • Demonstrated history of timely and accurately coding and processing incoming donations, including online transactions, manual entry and import files

  • Advanced knowledge of a fundraising CRM, including a work history of efficiency and accuracy in data entry and data management

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet software with the ability to use data to track activity and to generate reports

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
