Job Summary
The Customer Coordinator role is responsible for the administrative and analytical day-to-day functions of the sales team. This position has the primary responsibility to efficiently evaluate open order reports and collaborate with the internal and cross-functional teams to understand changes to production dates and disseminate that information back to the account executives to ensure accurate and timely delivery dates. This position reports directly to the Director of Customer Coordination.
This is what you will do:
- Order Facilitation
- Administer the end-to-end order process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in order processing to meet customer demand and expectations.
- Purchase Order Management:
- Accurately enter purchase orders into the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Communicate with account executives and associate team members to provide updates on delivery dates of components and chemicals.
- Customer Communication:
- Proactively engage with customers regarding on-time and later delivery dates, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the order process.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist with the collection and data required to prepare open order reports for customers to assist with informed decision-making.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the organization.
This is what you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, a related field, or a combination of education and experience is desired.
- One {1} to three {3} years of experience in Customer Service, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to make informed decisions within company SOP’s.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- Experience in customer service within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- AS400 experience preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining regular and predictable attendance
