Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in regular cycle counts to validate physical inventory against system records.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and well stocked inventory storage area.
- Make parts runs and drop offs as needed.
- Respond promptly to urgent requests for critical parts or supplies.
- Unload delivery truck via forklift.
- Collaborate with purchasing, maintenance and production to understand immediate needs.
- Prioritize and expediate deliveries based on urgency of request.
- Ensure company vehicle used for parts running is well maintained.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling and transporting parts and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent education; trade school or college preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work outdoors and lift 50 pounds required.
