The Sublimation Operator is responsible for operating sublimation equipment to process metal parts according to established procedures and quality standards. This role involves loading and unloading materials, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient production operations in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate sublimation processing equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures
  • Load and unload metal parts onto processing tables and into sublimation equipment
  • Retrieve parts from storage areas and position materials for optimal processing
  • Apply vacuum procedures to remove air from materials prior to processing operations
  • Conduct visual quality inspections of parts before and after processing to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Monitor and check vacuum pump oil fluid levels before starting daily production
  • Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records of processed materials
  • Follow verbal instructions from supervisors regarding daily operations and work assignments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through daily cleaning and weekly maintenance tasks
  • Properly dispose of scrap materials and waste in designated containers according to company protocols
  • Transport materials between storage, processing, and finishing areas using carts and material handling equipment
  • Collaborate professionally with team members and other departments
  • Perform other duties of similar complexity as assigned by supervision

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)
  • Physical stamina to push carts and tables loaded with materials throughout the facility
  • Good vision and hand-eye coordination for quality inspection and precise material handling
  • Ability to follow written procedures and training manuals
  • Strong attention to detail for quality control and safety compliance
  • Basic counting and documentation skills for production record keeping
  • Effective communication skills to receive and understand verbal instructions
  • Professional interpersonal skills for workplace collaboration
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn equipment operation through comprehensive on-the-job training program

 

2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday, with Fridays as needed, 5:00 pm – 5:00 am. Training will begin on the 1st shift with transition to the 2nd shift upon completion.

  • Manufacturing environment with concrete floors and limited climate control
  • Required use of personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes
  • Fast-paced production environment requiring consistent focus and attention to detail
