JSI invites you to join our team as a Recruiting Coordinator on our Recruiting Team in Greenbelt, Maryland where you'll play a critical role in advancing broadband and telecommunications initiatives that expand connectivity and drive digital inclusion—while advancing your career within a mission-driven, growth-focused organization.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Coordinator with 3–5 years of experience to join our Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to the telecommunications or technology sector and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless recruiting process by coordinating interviews, supporting hiring managers, and delivering exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to support the full-cycle recruiting process.
  • Communicate with candidates to provide timely updates, confirmations, and next steps.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate information and status changes.
  • Assist in drafting job postings and ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Coordinate background checks, references, and onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide regular reporting on time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and candidate status.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, including career fairs, social media postings, and internal recruiting events.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Sourcing resumes from various job boards. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of recruiting coordination or HR support experience; prior telecommunications or technology industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Greenhouse, iCIMS, Workday, etc. a plus.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player with a customer service mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Pinpoint, Paylocity or similar tools. 
  • Recent experience with supporting recruiting teams.
