The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Red Hat System Administrator to lead the administration of our Linux environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Red Hat-based systems, including RHEL, VMWare and OpenShift.
• Providing expert-level support for Linux systems, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex issues.
• Developing and implementing best practices for Linux system administration, security, and compliance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems with other IT systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Linux System Administration:
   • Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat-based systems, including RHEL, VMWare, and OpenShift.
   • Configure and manage Linux systems, including networking, storage, and security.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues.
2. Security and Compliance:
   • Develop and implement best practices for Linux system security and DoD RMF compliance
   • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cyber systems engineers, SIEM/logging team, and IT operations.
   • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay up-to-date with the latest Red Hat technologies and best practices.
   • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
