Position Summary

This role involves hands-on data integration, transformation and validation for Japan Commercial Pharma data ecosystems. Work closely with technical leads and business analysts to implement data pipelines and contribute to data modernization and governance efforts aligned with Eisai’s Japan operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica IDMC and Databricks.
  • Ingest, cleanse and validate datasets including IQVIA, Veeva, hospital sales, patient/claim data.
  • Understand Japan’s data privacy and compliance frameworks in pharmaceutical analytics.
  • Collaborate with BA/PM teams to translate requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.
  • Execute data quality checks and reconciliation cycles.
  • Coordinate with offshore and onsite teams for day-to-day delivery alignment.

Education

BE/B.Tech
Master of Computer Application

Work Experience

  • 4–6 years of total experience in data engineering roles, with 1–2 years on Japan pharma data projects.
  • Hands-on skills in Informatica IDMC, Databricks, PySpark, SQL.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Experience with healthcare datasets (sales, claims, Rx, patient, hospital).
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • JLPT N5/N4 certification or experience working with Japanese stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Jira for sprint-based delivery.
