General Manager
Graphite Restaurant – Columbia, IL
Graphite Restaurant is a locally owned casual fine dining restaurant known for elevated cuisine, craft cocktails, and warm hospitality. We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Recruit, train, and develop staff while fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Drive sales, control costs, and manage budgets to achieve financial goals.
Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure service standards are consistently met.
Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Collaborate with ownership on marketing initiatives, events, and long-term strategy.
Provide hands-on leadership by being visible and engaged on the restaurant floor.
Qualifications
2–3 years of management experience in a full-service or fine dining restaurant.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Proven ability to manage labor and operating costs effectively.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
A passion for hospitality and commitment to exceptional guest service.
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
