This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).

OVERVIEW:

Glenmede is seeking a motivated and client-service-oriented Fiduciary Associate to join our Fiduciary Practices Team. As a key support to Glenmede’s relationship teams and fiduciary specialists, you will assist in reviewing trust documentation, coordinating fiduciary review for new account on-boarding, and driving administrative processes forward. This role offers growth potential, with opportunities to develop technical expertise and advance within a collaborative and high-performing organization.

This position acts as a central point of contact and ambassador for the Fiduciary Practices Team among the broader organization. This is a visible role within Glenmede which requires attention to detail, a client service mindset and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business Activity. 

  • Support fiduciary specialists in review of new business opportunities to ensure consistent client experience, adherence to stellar fiduciary standards and minimize risk to Glenmede. 
  • Coordinate with Client Onboarding Specialists to efficiently on-board new trust relationships. 
  • Partner with Business Development and Relationship Management colleagues to facilitate smooth additions and on-boarding of trust relationships. 

Trust Distributions. 

  • Support Glenmede’s internal fiduciary committee by managing meeting logistics, preparing briefing materials and supporting reporting for accuracy and completeness.        
  • Develop deep relationships with committee members and relationship management teams to facilitate committee consideration and issue resolution. 

Oversight and Reporting. 

  • Gather and validate data related to trust administration to ensure adherence to sound fiduciary principles. 
  • Ensure collection and organization of required documentation to support trust administration. 
  • Work closely with legal and compliance and risk to ensure reporting aligns with internal controls. 
  • Maintain procedures to support compliance.  
  • Develop and maintain efficient reporting processes and controls. 
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to improve data quality and accuracy. 

Special Projects.  

  • Track and support meeting project timelines, milestones and deliverables for fiduciary special projects. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative work flows. 
  • Support implementation of best practices in fiduciary practices group. 
  • Perform other duties as required by the position and assist with special projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in administrative support.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fundamental knowledge of trust and fiduciary concepts, estate planning and taxation.
  • Strong research and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients, intermediaries and colleagues across the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in Salesforce.
