Job Title:  Senior Outreach and Engagement Manager

Location:  Washington, DC area; Hybrid

Clearance: Active Secret or Tier 3 (favorable adjudication)  

Citizenship: US citizenship required

Exemption Status: Exempt

Position type: Full time. 

Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 wage range.  You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on years of relevant professional experience, skillset, education/certification and geographical location.

AttainX Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Outreach and Engagement Manager to support planning, execution, and evaluation of communications and engagement initiatives for Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role will focus on campaign development, stakeholder engagement, and digital communications, working closely with leadership to ensure alignment with program goals. The Senior Manager will contribute subject matter expertise in outreach, brand engagement, and public relations, while supporting coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

 

Required: Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations (PR), marketing, outreach and engagement (O&E) or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in communications, PR, marketing, or digital engagement in the federal government sector.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting stakeholder engagement and outreach campaigns, preferably for government or DoD-related programs.
  • 5+ years in O&E leadership in brand and content development, PR, strategic planning and web/social media operations.
  • Background and experience with managing government, corporate or marketing communications including stakeholder management and maintaining internal and external relationships.
  • Experience providing support for large Department of Defense (DoD) contracts with a preference for MC&FP or related support activities highly preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret or Tier 3 (favorable adjudication) .

 

Desired/Preferred: Qualifications and Education:

  • 3+ years of experience with web content management systems (CMS), UI/UX testing, or digital analytics.
  • Experience supporting outreach campaigns for large user bases (500k+).

Job Duties:

 Support day-to-day performance of O&E-related tasks and personnel to include but not limited to:

  • Support execution of O&E campaigns, including planning, content development, and reporting.
  • Provide stakeholder affairs support and contribute to strategic communications initiatives.
  • Assist with development of digital and social media engagement strategies.
  • Support brand management activities, including digital platforms, creative services, and campaign messaging.
  • Conduct data collection, reporting, and performance analysis of campaigns and digital engagement.
  • Contribute to content lifecycle management (planning, development, deployment, and evaluation).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, compliant messaging and branding.
  • Assist in coordination of live and virtual events, speaker support, and community engagement programs.
  • Provide support in quality control, Section 508 compliance, and user experience considerations.
