We Are Looking For 

We are looking for a Vendor Management Associate who will be responsible for all aspects of vendor management including but not limited to customer and vendor relations. This position is responsible for controlling and regulating the vendors’ delivery performances by indirectly managing the supplier production schedules. This position includes coordination between other departments within the company as well as vendors and customers to meet the company’s goals and objectives.


What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Works directly or indirectly with customers to assess their delivery needs
  • Strives to obtain product from our suppliers to meet client specifications
  • Develops short and long-range plans that are realistic and effective in meeting the goals set forth by upper management
  • Facilitate service delivery meetings to ensure delivery against objectives are being met
  • Support the implementation of monitoring and tracking vendor service level agreements, contracts, and performance for vendors
  • Maintain vendor and contract data in systems
  • Establishes methods and procedures to ensure productivity is maintained at an optimum level and in the giving the best customer service
  • Removes obstacles, allows for, and contributes needed resources, coordinates work efforts and monitor’s progress. Always puts first things first
  • Provide guidance to colleagues on the vendor management processes
  • Manages multiple and changing priorities daily
  • Takes responsibility for own work and provides support to others
  • Schedule appointment and office meetings as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned


What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

  • 1-3 years of vendor management experience in the aerospace industry is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED Certification
  • Experience with company proprietary software is helpful 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
  • Previous experience in collections or supply chain would be a plus
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrate strong customer service attitude and demeanor
  • Solid communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail

Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. 
  • ITAR requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
