What you’ll be responsible for:

Access TeleCare is seeking a Systems Analyst, Revenue Cycle Management to manage and optimize systems that power our revenue cycle operations, including EDI, ERA, EFT enrollment, and administering payer websites for the team. This role will also support software projects and system conversions, helping the team run efficiently and effectively.

What you’ll work on:

Revenue Cycle Management:

  • Serve as the sole owner of EDI, ERA, and EFT enrollments for the organization with payers. 
  • Manage assigned tasks in software system related to any enrollments
  • Administer payer websites (i.e. Aetna, Cigna, Availity) for the extended RCM team. 
  • System definitions within Athena or current software to include: 
    • Facility set up
    • Provider creation
    • Rules and worklists 
    • Chargemaster and fee schedule maintenance
    • Maintenance of data fields
  • Assist with streamlining worklists and automation rules/processes within our software systems
  • Participate and collaborate with system selection process and add on software vendors
  • Assist A/R team as needed- and be a subject matter expert in both A/R and how software works with A/R tasks

Technology Integration:

  • Work closely with IT and Data Analytics to leverage technology for process improvement in revenue cycle operations

Identify and implement innovative solutions and new rules to streamline and automate revenue cycle processes in Athena

What you’ll bring to Access TeleCare:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle within the healthcare industry
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with EDI/ERA/EFT enrollments
  • Minimum of 1 year experience system maintenance or setup; Athena knowledge a plus 
  • Strong understanding of billing, payor and reimbursement processes. 
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work independently in a sole contributor role
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to think logically when applying or building rules or automations
  • Tenacity to work through outstanding issues with vendors
  • Experience with Athena software preferred
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced organization and 100% Remote based environment 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
