Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 base salary, plus variable incentive compensation (based on experience)

The Regional Director of Outreach at Alsana is a pivotal role within the organization. The primary responsibility is to serve as the face of Alsana in the community, fostering and nurturing relationships with mental health professionals including therapists, psychologists, dietitians, and other medical and mental health providers. Your objective is to cultivate a supportive network of providers who trust Alsana's commitment to delivering high-quality care and appreciate the unique differentiators our services offer to their clients. The Regional Outreach Director serves as a primary liaison between Alsana and the community, demonstrating exceptional presentation skills and fostering strong relationships with referral partners to drive business growth and enhance the organization's reputation.
- Maintains physical and psychological safety of all potential clients always served in both Alsana residential and outpatient programs.
- Always upholds the confidentiality of patient protective health information as well as the organization.
- Proactively engage with mental health professionals in the community to establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and community gatherings to promote Alsana’s mission and services.
- Act as a liaison between Alsana and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
- Provide education materials and presentations to mental health professionals about Alsana’s approach, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.
- Organize training sessions or workshops to enhance providers’ understanding of the unique benefits Alsana offers to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and research to effectively communicate Alsana’s position as a leader in the field of eating disorder treatment.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase referrals from mental health professionals by showcasing Alsana’s expertise and specialized care.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including admissions and clinical staff, to ensure a seamless referral process and exceptional client experience.
- Track referral sources, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, adhering to the work and appointment schedules.
- Accurate and timely completion of work assignments according to the designated timeline, while making efficient use of the organization’s resources.
- Participates in all organizational performance improvement initiatives.
- Upholds and maintains professional boundaries, demeanor, dress and interaction with clients, family members, visitors, and co-workers.
- Performs all duties to the highest ethical standard and complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices and standards of patient care.
- Complies with all standards established by the Department of Mental Health and any other agency accrediting the organization.
- Maintains collaborative peer relationships and demonstrates courtesy and respect of others.
- Displays enthusiasm, positive problem solving and commitment to help both colleagues and the organization reach its goals.
- 75% virtual / 25% field-based, with travel as needed
- Assist with other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience working in a sales or outreach role required.
- Experience working within the behavioral health industry with eating disorder marketing experience preferred.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships in their market within their region.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluently and effectively in English. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the board of directors, management, staff, patients, vendors, and the general public.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must be PC literate with proficiency in spreadsheets, database software and word processing.
- Experience working in a CRM system, preferably Salesforce, required.
- Highly organized, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task required.
