The Summit Area YMCA (SAY) is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Marketing & Data Analytics to lead the organization’s marketing, communications, and data strategy. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives on combining creativity with analytics to drive measurable impact. Reporting directly to the CEO/COO, the Senior Director oversees all marketing channels—including website, social media, email, mobile app, print, and advertising—while leveraging data and technology to strengthen the YMCA’s brand, expand membership and program participation, and deepen community engagement.
This leader will not only manage campaigns and systems, but also shape the YMCA’s voice in the community, ensuring that every message reflects our mission and values. They will serve as a strategist, storyteller, and data champion—empowering teams, building cross-department collaboration, and providing actionable insights that guide decision-making at every level of the organization.

Salary & Benefits
This full-time, exempt-level position generally works Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. The Salary range for this position is $90,000 – $115,000 annually, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans for membership, programs, fundraising, and community initiatives.
- Oversee execution across digital and traditional platforms: website, social, email, mobile, print, advertising, and PR.
- Create compelling content and ensure all campaigns align with YMCA brand standards and mission.
- Manage and optimize the annual marketing budget to maximize ROI.
Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to track performance of campaigns, membership trends, and program engagement.
- Leverage analytics and CRM systems (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Power BI, Daxko, Salesforce, Blackbaud) to identify growth and retention opportunities.
- Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to leadership and the Board.
Information Management
- Lead association-wide use of CRM systems to strengthen membership, program, volunteer, and donor experiences.
- Support staff and leadership with custom reports to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, donor management, and privacy standards.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise, mentor, and inspire the Marketing team.
- Partner with program, membership, and development leaders to design and deliver impactful campaigns.
- Represent the YMCA in the community, strengthening partnerships and visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7–10 years of progressive marketing/analytics experience, with 5+ years in leadership.
- Experience in a nonprofit, membership-based, or mission-driven organization strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in digital and traditional marketing, brand management, and content development.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Power BI) and CRM systems (Daxko, Salesforce, Blackbaud, etc.).
- Skilled in using data to drive decisions, optimize campaigns, and report on performance.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage budgets, and collaborate across departments.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and project management skills.
