The Director, Field Marketing and Integrations, is responsible for developing and leading the Field Marketing team in executing scalable local and regional growth plans across AEG Vision's portfolio of practices and ensuring a seamless integration of acquired practices into the AEG Marketing and organic growth ecosystem. This role combines strategic vision for the team with leadership and collaboration across the organization to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution. The Director of Field Marketing and Integrations will oversee the Field Marketing and Marketing Integration teams.
This senior-level leader serves as the central point of contact between operations, integration, call center, enterprise marketing, merchandising, and corporate development teams in the development and execution of growth programs at the regional and local level. They serve as part of the Marketing Leadership Team, collaborating to develop, test, and execute overall organic growth strategies for AEG Vision regions, divisions, markets, and practices. They will work with the CMO and AVP to build career pathing and development plans for the Field Marketing and Integration team members, mentor and manage regional marketing leaders (Senior Marketing Business Partners and Marketing Business Partners) and the Integration Marketing Managers, ensuring all initiatives align with and contribute to AEG Vision's goals for organic growth, patient acquisition, retention, and brand continuity across the patient journey.
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Manage, coach, mentor, and develop a team of field marketers and integration marketing professionals.
- Build career pathing and development plans for Field Marketing and Integration team members and regularly meet to provide feedback and guidance to the team.
- Foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous learning, innovation, and performance.
- Serve as a mentor to cross-functional teammates to enhance the development of the broader Marketing team.
- Lead regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and professional development planning.
- Strategic Field Marketing Oversight
- Set the strategic vision for regional growth through market segmentation, persona development, and practice cohort analysis.
- Collaborate with senior marketing and cross-functional leaders across the organization to develop processes and a communication structure that supports organizational alignment around the integration and growth plans developed within the Field Marketing and Integration teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates in developing Marketing and Patient Experience performance reporting that provides insight into the organic growth of our regions, divisions, markets, and practices.
- Support, monitor, and report on the team's execution of data-informed growth plans to drive eye exams and new patient acquisition across AEG practices.
- Partner with performance analytics, digital marketing, and creative teams to translate data into actionable growth strategies at the practice level.
- Independently with the Field Marketing and/or Integration team(s), or in partnership with enterprise marketing teammates, develop, align internally within Marketing, obtain organizational alignment and buy-in for, and execute pilot tests for new marketing campaigns and capabilities that can potentially drive growth to gain incremental market share.
- Ensure that all pilots and tests through Field Marketing and Integration have clear KPIs that are pre-determined, measured, reported, and communicated at minimum within the Marketing organization, and where appropriate, to broader stakeholders, up to and including the Executive Leadership Team.
- Develop, socialize, and execute Marketing Playbooks that address common opportunities across the AEG Vision portfolio of practices.
- Establish consistent methodologies for campaign analysis, reporting, and field execution across regions.
- Ensure that each Field Marketing teammate with regional growth responsibilities is trained on, and knowledgeable about the performance of the region(s) under their responsibility.
- Partner with the Call Center team in the development and execution of strategic growth plans.
- Marketing Integration Leadership
- Evaluate all aspects of Marketing Integration for opportunities to improve process, develop recommendations for improvement, work with stakeholders across the organization to align and implement improvements, and establish a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure that all Integration processes and touchpoints contribute to the successful adoption of AEG's Marketing ecosystem.
- Establish the Marketing Integration team as the primary responsible point of contact for new practices unless and until they are ready to be transitioned to Field Marketing .
- Ensure clear responsibilities between Field Marketing, Integration, and Enterprise Marketing-focused teams within the integration process, and work to execute smooth transitions between all stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of newly acquired practices.
- Oversee end-to-end marketing integration for newly acquired practices, from pre-close planning through ALE platform migration.
- Ensure alignment of messaging, brand transition, CRM handover, digital assets, and signage with corporate brand strategy.
- Partner with the corporate development and integration leads to streamline onboarding workflows, anticipate marketing needs, and eliminate transition gaps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents, Senior Eye Care Directors, and other field leadership to identify regional priorities and execute aligned marketing initiatives.
- Act as a key liaison between marketing and operations, integration, call center, and corporate development teams.
- Represent marketing leadership in integration calls, field meetings, and cross-functional strategic planning.
- Project Management & Operational Excellence
- Work with Marketing Leadership to develop, execute, and continuously improve project management processes and communications internally, and with stakeholders across the organization.
- Ensure consistent use of relevant project management tools to track and manage team workload and commitments, manage team workflows, campaign tracking, and project documentation.
- Guide the design and rollout of scalable initiatives such as strategic playbooks, practice templates, and branded transition toolkits.
- Oversee vendor relationships related to regional marketing execution and integration support.
