Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Civilian Patrol Technician. The Civilian Patrol Technician reports to the Patrol Support Supervisor. The primary functions of this position include:
- Responding to calls for police service such as traffic accidents, parking complaints, barking and stray dogs
- Recovering found property
- Providing motorist assistance and mitigate roadway hazards.

Position Duties

- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in police incident report preparation.
- Ability to work shifts that may include nights and weekends.
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to obtain an Arizona Driver's License by hire date
- Obtain a Terminal Operator Certification within 45 days of hire date
- Top candidates will be skilled problem-solvers with strong verbal and written communication skills. They must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations.
Because of the confidential, sensitive nature of information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph examination is required. Candidates given a conditional job offer will be required to pass a psychological and medical evaluation.
