Position Summary
Under the direction of the Note Department Manager, the Loan Servicing Specialist I performs a variety of centralized service functions related to the servicing of commercial, real estate, and consumer loans. This role ensures loan files are complete, monitors tickler and renewal requirements, and provides exceptional service to Relationship Managers, clients, and vendors.
This position is on-site at our Watsonville location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain loan documentation files and digital records
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain and process ResiPool loans, including payment application, wire tracking, and closed loan processing
- Monitor and update collateral tickler systems to ensure receipt and accuracy of UCCs, Deeds of Trust, Title Policies, and other documentation
- Perform UCC monitoring, including continuations and terminations
- Support daily transaction requests and closed loan monitoring as needed
- Successful completion of all required compliance and regulatory training assigned by the Bank.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies to ensure full adherence in daily operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Experience: 1–3 years in loan operations or related lending experience, preferably in a commercial lending environment
