Requirements
The role
As the Digital Trading Manager, you will be accountable for digital sales performance on our Carvela (UK+US) & Shoeaholics websites. Working closely with your key digital stakeholders as well as Buying & Merchandising teams, you will be instrumental in delivering the business strategy and trade plans. You are data driven in your approach, understand the digital customer, analysing the key metrics across sales, traffic, AOV and conversion to drive your decision making. Key roles and responsibilities will include:
- Developing the weekly, monthly and seasonal trade plans in-line with revenue, margin and EBITDA ambitions
- Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising on range availability and to identify product opportunities, as well as CRM and Performance Marketing to support traffic driving activities, with a focus on improving CVR and profitability.
- Leading trade meetings to review performance as well as looking ahead, identifying commercial opportunities to leverage growth and deliver digital KPIs
- Manage weekly and monthly forecasting of sales KPIs
- Adopt a data led approach to all decision making, utilising tools GA, Contentsquare and Tableau to inform decision making
- Maximising CRO opportunities across Mobile, Desktop and Tablet, utilising tools including Taggstar and Wandz.ai
- Deliver best in class on-site visual merchandising and customer experience
- Understanding of international markets and opportunities to drive successful growth of our Carvela US website due to launch in the Autumn
- Leading and developing a highly motivated and talented team
Your experience
- Proven track record of success in a similar Digital Trading and CRO role
- Highly numerate, with excellent planning and analytical capabilities
- Advanced Excel knowledge and good working knowledge of Google Analytics, Qubit and Content Square
- Excellent influencing and communication skills at all levels of an organisation
- Excellent relationship building across a large number of stakeholders
