The budgeted hiring range for this position is $96,523.88-$105,040.69.

Position Summary:

Project Manager II, PMO will lead the successful execution of strategic projects across the organization. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that project goals align with business objectives, and that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage strategic projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely execution.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to proactively address project challenges.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration by facilitating cross-functional team alignment and communication.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, project methodologies, and best practices set by the Strategic PMO.
  • Provide transparent reporting on project status, key milestones, and potential roadblocks to senior leadership.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize project delivery and enhance decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance operational efficiency and strategic impact.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    Education: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience required.
    • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

    Experience: 

    • Minimum of 4+ years of project management experience with a strong focus on strategic and enterprise-level initiatives.
    • Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects within a corporate and/or higher-education environment.
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Critical Path, Hybrid) and tools (Planner, Monday.com, or equivalent).
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Experience in change management, business process improvement, and organizational transformation initiatives.

    Certifications: 

    • PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
    • Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) are a plus.

      All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
