About the Role

Spiegelworld is looking for an On-Call Stage Manager to join our team at Superfrico at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth execution of the Superfeats show during evening performances. What makes this position unique? Unlike traditional stage environments, Superfeats takes place in a bustling restaurant setting. The Stage Manager must be highly aware of their surroundings, coordinating seamlessly with restaurant management, performers, and staff to maintain both the flow of the show and the guest experience. This position reports to the Entertainment Managers. Join us and be part of the magic at Superfrico, where immersive dining meets world-class entertainment! This position reports to the entertainment manager on duty. This is an on-call position that pays $33/hour. 

What You’ll Do 

  • The Stage Manager (SM) is responsible for overseeing and executing the Superfeats evening. As the sole person on duty, their responsibilities include:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with restaurant management, performers, and staff to address any operational needs.
  • Monitor the movement of performers within the restaurant to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Adapt quickly to the dynamic environment of a live performance in a dining setting.
  • Setting up props and ensuring all necessary elements are in place.
  • Monitoring Seafood Tower orders and adjusting the schedule accordingly.
  • Managing lighting and sound cues via QLab on the provided iPad.
  • Preparing the restaurant for the evening, ensuring the correct atmosphere is set.
  • Starting the DJ’s set at the beginning of the evening and transitioning to a playlist during their breaks.
  • Closing down the restaurant at the end of the night and releasing the DJ.
  • The SM plays a crucial role in maintaining the flow of the evening, ensuring all technical and atmospheric elements align for a seamless experience.
  • Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
  • Create a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

 All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Spiegelworld policies, practices, and procedures.

What You Bring

  • Previous stage management or live event coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in an unconventional performance space.
  • Availability for on-call scheduling based on team needs.
  • Must be team-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Passion for ensuring you deliver the highest standards consistently.
  •  Must maintain proper safety and sanitation standards.
  • Successful background check clearance and drug test prior to hire 
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled/needed.
  • Must have valid work authorization for the US.

  • Work is performed in a high volume professional food service and theater environment.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
  • Able to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours 
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds 
  • Able to crawl and kneel.
