To provide material handling assistance to the production department.
Key Responsibilities
- Prep metal and have ready prior to roll change. Assist pan operators in changing out parent rolls.
- Keep trays assembled and ready for use by press operators.
- Keep finished pallets wrapped, ticketed, and transferred to warehouse.
- Keep constant supply of items that are essential to the production.
- Keep trash bins emptied on a regular basis.
- Process bales of scrap metal. This includes but not limited to processing and distribution of all paperwork and location of finished bale(s) to proper location.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of plant to GMP standards by removing dust and debris, etc. Sweeping main aisles and perimeter runs on a daily basis.
- Keeping cobwebs removed from walls and ceilings.
- Any other duties as requested or required.
