About this OpportunityManages programs that provide rent subsidy assistance to lower income households and supervise staff to carry out program and other related programs. Considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.

Position Duties
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Approves qualification of prospective assistance applicants with other staff members,
- Supervises implementation and monitors programs, projects, and activities for the Assisted Housing Division.
- Supervises the work of assigned personnel, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Conducts informal reviews
- Provides case management of tenant files.
- Responds to issues and complaints. Works with family, landlord, and applicants to resolve issues.
- Prepares and tracks monthly financial reports.
- Works in conjunction with respective federal, state, and other local agencies.
- Provides information to landlords, tenants, and others concerning program requirements.
- Performs related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Social Work, Public Policy, or a related field and
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Housing Choice Voucher or related experience or
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population
- Certificate in Housing Choice Voucher Calculations
- Family Self-Sufficiency Training

7:30am to 4:30pm
