Hybrid EMEA Risk Advisory - Senior Analyst bei Validus Risk Management

This role will sit in the Advisory team at Validus, and will be responsible for:

• Working with clients to design and implement hedging strategies across various markets and asset classes (FX, rates, commodities, equities). 
• Provide support to the Engagement manager
• Assist in analytical testing of solutions   
• Assist associates in analysing client information and preparing periodic performance reports.
• Developing relationships with a small number of high-value clients receiving the Validus retainer service including:

a.     Strategic consultancy services 

b.     Innovative project work

c.     Pro-active client service

d.     Presentation of technology platform 

• Identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients and assisting in the business development process.
• Keep up to date with academic, technical and industry developments
• Adhere to Financial Conduct Authority Rules and Regulations
• Adhere to all internal policies and procedures

Requirements

Qualifications and Education requirements

• 1-3 years professional experience, preferably within management consultancy, investment banking or Private Equity / Hedge Funds.
• Relevant undergraduate degree

SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with an extremely high attention to detail
• Understanding of risk management in financial markets
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Time management/ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
