We’re looking for an EDI and Tracking Information Specialist to join our Sales Department and help keep Mercer connected and compliant. In this role, you’ll manage electronic data interchange (EDI) setups, monitor shipment visibility platforms, and resolve connectivity issues to ensure our carriers, clients, and internal teams stay aligned. Your efforts will directly impact carrier performance, client satisfaction, and operational success.

This position is onsite Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and monitor electronic data interchange (EDI) connections and troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Manage shipment visibility platforms like FourKites, Project44, and MacroPoint
  • Partner with Sales, Clients, Agents, and IT to resolve tracking concerns

Who You Are

  • Organized and detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communicator — professional and clear when interacting with Sales, Clients, and Agents
  • Proficient in TMS software, Microsoft Office, and GPS tracking tools
  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in truckload transportation, dispatch, or shipment tracking
  • Familiarity with OTR trucking and owner-operator models
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Motive, MacroPoint, Project44, and HOS/DOT compliance
