This entry-level to early-career role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of SOC experience or recent college graduates with relevant certifications. Candidates must have experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), have familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. U.S. Citizenship is required. Preferred qualifications include industry certifications (CEH, CISSP, GCIH, etc.), IDS log analysis skills, and experience with packet capture tools and network protocols.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Candidate must have open availability for in-person shift assignments. Shifts will be determined by staffing needs:
1st shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd shift: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
3rd shift: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Competitive – based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Monitor and analyze security events from SIEM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security Solutions, NAC, and other data sources.
Identify, investigate, and escalate potential security incidents.
Perform basic analysis of network traffic and system logs.
Support incident response activities and documentation.
Collaborate with senior analysts to improve detection and response procedures.
Communicate technical details clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
1–3 years of SOC (Security Operations Center) experience OR recent college graduate with relevant industry certifications.
Experience with Windows, Linux, or UNIX operating systems in a functional capacity.
Familiarity with Splunk or similar SIEM tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred:
Certifications such as CSIS, CEH, CSTA, CSTP, GCFE, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN.
IDS log analysis experience.
Knowledge of packet capture tools and traffic analysis.
Understanding of well-known protocols and services (FTP, HTTP, SSH, SMB, DAP).
