Position Summary

The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy nephrology clinic, ensuring that patient care and clinic workflows run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role is accountable for staffing, equipment readiness, compliance with safety standards, and supporting physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care. The Clinic Manager serves as the operational leader, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily clinic operations to ensure patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee clinic staffing, including scheduling, coverage planning, and performance support.
  • Ensure proper training, development, and accountability of clinical and administrative staff.
  • Maintain clinic compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Monitor and coordinate equipment needs, maintenance, and supply chain requirements.
  • Partners with providers optimize clinic workflows, reduce waiting times, and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Support organizational goals, including quality initiatives, financial performance, and patient outcomes.
  • Act as the liaison between clinic staff, providers, and executive leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • AAS degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years in a progressive leadership role within healthcare, medical office, or related setting (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years Nephrology experience is preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 years of eClinical Software systems knowledge preferred
  • Strong knowledge of clinical operations, staffing management, and patient flow.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Experience with medical equipment oversight and ensuring workplace safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems (eClinical Works preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Texas drivers license in good standing, covered driver on vehicle insurance 

Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site role. Remote work is not authorized for this role.
  • Requires flexibility to meet operational needs, including occasional travel between sites.
