POSITION OVERVIEW

We are dedicated to revolutionizing how businesses operate by leveraging cutting-edge solutions.We seek a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to drive sales initiatives, enhance customer engagement, and expand our market presence. This role focuses on generating new leads, maintaining regular communication with existing customers, coordinating on-site visits for potential clients, and managing sales metrics in collaboration with various departments. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and contributing to our mission of industry transformation.



TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting – Proactively generate new leads using outbound sales efforts, CRM tools (e.g., Membrane), lead databases (e.g., ZoomInfo), and inbound inquiries to build a strong sales pipeline.
  2. Maintain Communication Cadence with Customers & Opportunities – Establish and maintain regular touchpoints with prospects and existing customers through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings to nurture relationships and move deals forward.
  3. Coordinate On-Site Visits & Facility Tours – Arrange and facilitate customer visits, plant tours, and on-site demonstrations to showcase the company’s automation solutions and strengthen customer engagement.4.
  4. Own the P&L Sales Metrics & Cross-Department Coordination – Track, manage, and analyze sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with financial goals while coordinating with engineering, operations, and service teams to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  5. Manage Full Sales Process for Products Under $75,000 – Take full ownership of the sales cycle for lower-cost automation solutions, from lead qualification to proposal, closing, and post-sale follow-up, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES 

  • CRM Management & Data Accuracy – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (Membrane) to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, ensuring proper documentation of the sales process.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting – Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to leadership, helping drive strategic sales decisions and resource allocation.
  • Customer Needs Assessment & Solution Alignment – Conduct discovery calls to assess customer needs, challenges, and automation goals, aligning solutions to their business objectives.
  • Support Marketing & Sales Campaigns – Work closely with the marketing team to execute targeted sales campaigns, follow up on leads from trade shows and webinars, and contribute to content and outreach strategies.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or customer relationship management, preferably in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in B2B sales, particularly in industries such as automotive, logistics, warehousing, food & beverage, healthcare, and material handling.

Sales & Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical automation solutions to customers.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Membrane), sales automation tools, and prospecting databases like ZoomInfo.
  • Experience in preparing sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers, prospects, and internal teams.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field sales, marketing, engineering, and service teams.

Analytical & Organizational Abilities:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in tracking and reporting key sales metrics, including P&L performance.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience coordinating customer site visits, facility tours, and virtual demonstrations.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation, robotics integration, or related technical solutions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to team success.
