Job Scope:

We are looking for a highly organized and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Technology Support Specialist. This role involves conducting PC inventory audits, providing technical support including computer setup, user management, software licensing, hardware ordering, managing administrative tasks like billing and vendor coordination, and Helpdesk issue resolution requiring experience in technical support, Microsoft 365, and other third-party systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows with the ability to troubleshoot applications and windows machine system configurations as well as build new machines using Autopilot.
  • Knowledge of PC Hardware troubleshooting and installations, basic network connectivity, printer troubleshooting and installations.
  • Handle user setups and deactivations in Microsoft 365 and other 3rd party applications
  • Respond to Helpdesk tickets and resolve technical issues, including the ability to provide remote support for users traveling or at home.
  • Manage billing processes and IT vendor coordination along with other minor administrative tasks.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 and other third-party systems.
  • Order and set up hardware for staff.
  • Administer select software licensing.
  • Ensure local Inventory is up to date and correct, including an annual audit using Microsoft InTune.
  • Maintain current industry knowledge through courses, webinars, books, and self-study.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Vocational/Technical Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and isolate Level 2 type issues that are related to either Hardware or Software environments.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365

  • Basic experience supporting personal computers and small multi-user systems in a business or academic environment, or a similar demonstrated aptitude.

  • Effective interpersonal relations skills are sufficient to effectively work with a broad range of people from a wide variety of professional disciplines.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow defined processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of printer installation and troubleshooting

  • Experience in inventory management

  • Familiarity with Yardi and Adobe products
