Description

Position Summary

The HR Technology & Automation Analyst serves as a key resource in managing HR systems, optimizing workflows, and driving automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. This role combines HR knowledge with technical expertise to ensure accurate data management, streamline processes, and deliver innovative solutions that improve the employee experience. The Analyst will also support the responsible adoption of AI within HR processes, ensuring compliance, fairness, and alignment with organizational values.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not have direct reports but may lead cross-functional project teams or coordinate with external vendors during system implementations or upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Process Excellence

· Support HR operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of core HR processes.

· Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and develop user-friendly job aids for HR workflows.

· Assist with onboarding processes, ensuring systems and technology are properly configured to create a seamless new hire experience.

HRIS Administration & System Optimization

· Act as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform (e.g., Paycom), managing configurations, permissions, and troubleshooting.

· Partner with HR and IT teams to implement upgrades, integrations, and process enhancements.

· Monitor system performance and maintain data integrity across all HR systems.

· Generate and analyze HR data reports to support business decision-making.

Compliance & Reporting

· Manage compliance requirements, including EEO reporting, labor law postings, employment verifications, and other mandated filings.

· Conduct regular audits of HR systems and processes to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.

Technology & Automation Initiatives

· Collaborate on automation and AI initiatives that improve HR efficiency and employee experience.

· Ensure responsible adoption of AI technologies, considering fairness, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., EEOC).

· Support change management efforts to increase user adoption of new tools and processes.

Employee Experience & Engagement

· Contribute to engagement initiatives by supporting HR-driven programs and activities.

· Coordinate company participation in talent award surveys and recognition-related projects.

Continuous Improvement

· Identify and implement opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and technology enhancements.

· Stay informed on trends in HR technology, AI solutions, and compliance best practices.

Required Skills & Abilities

· Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including data interpretation and reporting.

· Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

· High discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.

· Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Paycom preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Familiarity with responsible AI principles and data privacy regulations (preferred but not required).

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

· 3–5 years of HR experience with exposure to HRIS administration, HR operations, or people analytics.

· Experience supporting HR systems and process improvement initiatives.

· Familiarity with AI/automation in HR workflows (preferred).

· HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP/or HR technology certification (e.g., HRIP) is a plus.
