Great lakes Honda of Akron is a trusted name in the automotive industry, committed to providing top-tier customer service and efficient operations. We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Automotive Title Clerk to join our administrative team.
Job Summary:
The Automotive Title Clerk will handle a variety of tasks related to vehicle titling and registration, ensuring all paperwork is accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process title documents for new and used vehicles, wholesale deals, and lease payoffs
- Submit required forms to the DMV and follow up on title issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all title work and vehicle inventory
- Communicate with customers, financial institutions, and state agencies as needed
- Stay updated on state regulations regarding titling and registration
- Assist with other office duties as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Title Clerk in a dealership or similar setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of state DMV title regulations and documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
