About the Role:
The Analyst, Quality Assurance in Health Care Services plays a critical role in ensuring that all healthcare processes, products, and services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for systematically evaluating operational workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing quality control measures to enhance members safety and service effectiveness. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain quality assurance protocols that align with industry best practices and compliance mandates. The Analyst will analyze data trends and audit results to provide actionable insights that drive continuous quality improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position ensures that healthcare delivery is both efficient and compliant, contributing to improved member outcomes and organizational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Assurance or Healthcare Quality (e.g., CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of health care regulations and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of health care services to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Analyze data related to member outcomes and service delivery to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on quality assurance findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
