Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Environmental & Facilities Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Utilities Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage utilities for North American facilities.
Reporting to the Manager of Facility Systems & Standards, the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facilities department's objective to provide efficient / reliable infrastructure and utilities across all pillars in North America.
What you’ll be doing
Investigate renewable energy opportunities for North American sites to meet sustainability goals
Take ownership of contract initiatives for energy procurement.
Complete analysis of facility energy usage, reduction activities and energy costs.
Update management (Immediate & Executive) on regulatory changes, market changes and supply disruptions as needed.
Analyze and justify participation in utility rate cases.
Identify incentives and rebates available to Toyota locations
Lead utility payment processing and work with business unit customers to resolve issues.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Experience in energy procurement, energy benchmarking
Knowledge with electric and natural gas utility regulations throughout US.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work up to 10% overtime when required.
Ability to travel up to 10% when required.
Added bonus if you have
Experience with VT Scada
Experience with renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements.
Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP).
Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
