Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and other duties to assure the preservation and upkeep of the building, fixtures, equipment, and all areas in the theater.
- Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment
- Handles necessary repairs and maintenance
- Maintains and cleans areas both inside and the outside of theater
- May install equipment and appliances
- Follows local and state building codes
- Complies with all company and state safety regulations
- Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports
- Reports any issues to managers and General Manager
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion
- Follows written and verbal instructions from the managers and General Manager
- Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and/or other written instructions
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools
Requirements
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Communicates effectively
- Speaking multiple languages is preferred.
- Working earlier in the morning to complete tasks before the theater opens
