Job Title:  End Point Assessment Coordinator
Department: Apprenticeships 
Salary:  £26,537-£28,761 per year
Job Type: Full-time, permanent role.

Responsible for coordinating all end-point assessment for all apprentices studying at the College. Based within the college’s apprenticeship team, you will be the main point of contact for external end point assessment organisations (EPAO’s), skills coaches and  curriculum colleagues within the team. 
 
You will co-ordinate the key pieces of EPA relevant information through the learner journey from start to finish, liaising with employers and students to ensure a high-quality EPA experience is delivered. This includes registering apprentices with EPA’s and managing bookings for interviews, professional discussions, presentations and exams. You will also play a critical role in ensuring apprentices finish their courses timely, with all qualifications and work completed to the highest standard. The role includes recording and maintaining EPA relevant information on internal and external systems and maintaining process guides for each EPAO in line with regulations and ESFA funding rules. 
 
This role is suitable for someone who is well organised and can communicate easily with colleagues, apprentices, and external stakeholders at all levels. You will have administration experience and ideally you will have experience of apprenticeships and end point assessment. 
 
This post will cover a wide variety of delivery areas and is crucial to the continuing success of the college’s apprenticeship cohort. The post holder will join a growing and dynamic team supporting a variety of functions within Apprenticeships and Commercial delivery committed to continuous improvement and business growth.



Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the administrative processes within the apprenticeship delivery team. 
  2. Coordinate and deliver the End Point Assessment process for all apprenticeship standards. 
  3. Provide timely and accurate data relating to EPA process for apprenticeships.
  4. Produce reports to inform the Apprenticeship Progress Boards, identifying trends and themes in EPA results. 
  5. Assist in the production of performance reports for the apprenticeship delivery function. 
  6. To liaise with relevant business teams relating to EPA processes.
  7. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of guidance and regulations for EPAO and apprenticeship funding rules.
  8. Ensure data accuracy and integrity, correcting ILR rule violations and supporting the completion technical (PDSAT) funding reports.
  9. Facilitate the EPA process in its entirety, including liaising with college delivery teams, assessment team, MIS team, Employers and EPA organisations. 
  10. Input and monitor registrations for apprenticeship EPAs, gateway requests and EPA test bookings
  11. Input and monitor registrations for employability qualifications 
  12. To support in preparation work for internal and external audit in relation to systems and data audits.
  13. Provide general administrative cover for the wider team during holiday periods. 
  14. Act as a liaison with external organisations in relation to the administration and compliance processes of the team taking ownership for issue resolution and escalation.
  15. To liaise with relevant apprenticeship, business development, and curriculum colleagues taking ownership for issue resolution and escalation as appropriate.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Criteria:
  1. 3 years administration experience preferably within a further education/training environment
  2.  Experience of data input, data correction and data extraction and preparation of performance purposes
  3.  Excellent ICT skills including proficient use of Microsoft Office and Student Records Systems
  4. Well organised with experience of working in a customer-oriented environment. 
  5. Excellent presentation and written communication skills 
  6. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills 
  7. Ability to manage conflicting priorities 
  8. Ability to build and maintain strong rapport with wide range of stakeholders 
  9. Commitment to taking ownership for resolving issues 
  10. High level of interpersonal and communication skills 
  11. Positive personality – self-motivated 
  12. Clear personal commitment to meeting and surpassing customer expectations 

Desirable criteria:

  1. Knowledge of education funding regulations and audit requirements 
  2. Experience of working within an apprenticeships team 
  3. Experience of co-ordinating and tracking administrative processes to ensure high levels of performance.  
  4. Experience and knowledge of EPA processes and Awarding Body regulations
