The Opportunity
We're seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive revenue across multiple hotels within the Lodging Dynamics portfolio. In this high-impact, individual-contributor role (no direct reports), you'll partner closely with each property's Director of Sales to execute sales strategies, grow key accounts, and develop new business.
What You'll Do
Execute property-level sales strategies to achieve room night and revenue targets.
Manage and grow key corporate, group, and travel-partner accounts.
Prospect new business through research, outreach, cold calling, and networking.
Lead site inspections, client presentations, proposals, and bid responses.
Negotiate rates and contracts within company guidelines and brand parameters.
Identify opportunities across corporate, group, and leisure segments.
Build strong relationships with meeting planners, TMCs, and corporate travel managers.
Represent properties at trade shows, sales missions, and industry events.
Collaborate with property teams to ensure flawless execution of group programs.
Maintain accurate CRM/sales system records; report on activity, pipeline, and KPIs.
Monitor competitors and market trends; prepare forecasts and analyses for reviews.
Support properties during peak periods, including occasional on-site assistance.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of hotel sales experience (multi-property/area experience a plus).
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals.
Strong knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and revenue management basics.
Proficiency with PMS and sales/CRM platforms (e.g., Delphi or similar).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Organized, self-directed, and effective at managing multiple priorities.
High emotional intelligence; collaborates well across properties and functions.
Willing to travel 10-30%.
