Cardinal McCloskey Community Services (CMCS) is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services. In this role, the PMHNP will collaborate closely with CMCS' outpatient counseling team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to both adult and youth clients experiencing behavioral health challenges. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals across the lifespan-children, adolescents, and adults-with mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. The PMHNP will prescribe, adjust, or discontinue medications in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement and state regulations. Additional duties involve timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and reports for relevant agencies and funders, as well as prompt responses to calls and emails (within 24 hours or sooner if clinically necessary). The practitioner will also be accessible to Provident's 24/7 crisis clinicians to support client emergencies.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing
• Graduation from a state-certified advance practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health
• 3+years of experience as a psychiatric provider
• Experience in tele medicine
• An unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
• Must have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in New York
• Office of Mental Health Clinic Experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
