Fountain Valley School District is seeking a qualified and collaborative Long-Term Substitute Teacher to provide History-Social Science (HSS) instruction for grades 6th-8th at Fulton Middle School. This is a 50% assignment (3 class periods: 1st through 3rd) beginning September 22, 2025, and continuing through February 23, 2026. Up to two (2) overlap days with the current teacher are anticipated prior to the start date and will be scheduled based on availability. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with the California History-Social Science (HSS) Framework, maintain a supportive classroom environment, and collaborate effectively with site staff.
