Summary/Objective

Experienced Billing Clerk to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Prepares back up for billing, expenditures, accounts receivable/collections and assist with preparing the invoices. Follows accounting procedures established by the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Review all accounting reports (Excel Spreadsheets) from the airport stations (using Zoho.Docs) and make sure all the information for the services provided to the airlines are been reported on a daily basis.
  • Create invoices for the assign station.
  • Perform account receivable functions, including revision of collections.
  • Review the credit card charges and update QuickBooks Enterprise.
  • Follows accounting procedures established by the organization.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 

Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets as necessary. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time or part-time position.Typical days and hours are 9:00AM – 5:30PM.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position, except upon request.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Associate Degree
  2. 2 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeper

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Experience working with QuickBooks Enterprises.
  2. Ability to understand the principles and procedures of bookkeeping and record-keeping
  3. Accuracy in accounting
  4. Must exhibit exceptional customer service.
  5. As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a pre-employment drug/alcohol test
  6. Bilingual: English/Spanish
  7. Maintain a good relationship with clients.
  8. Computer literacy in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook. 
  9. Knowledge of federal and state tax legal compliance.
  10. Ability to multitask
  11. Great written and verbal communication skills
  12. Highly organized with great time-management skills
  13. Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment
